These are the logo variations used throughout the years by DreamWorks Pictures, with more to be added over time.

Deep Impact (1998):

  • The text and clouds fade away, but the night sky is left intact, segueing into the opening scene.

The Road to El Dorado (2000):

  • Once the logo finishes animating, the camera zooms past the clouds and into the night sky.

Gladiator (2000):

  • The logo has a sepia tint.

Shrek (2001):

  • The "S"'s in "DREAMWORKS" and "SKG" turn into the "S" from the film's logo.

  • An unused variation would have had the logo fade into the door of Shrek's outhouse, which also has a moon on it.

Minority Report (2002):

The Ring (2002):

  • The logo is tinted in verdigris with a VHS effect, and half of the titular ring briefly flashes on the moon.

Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003):

  • The "DREAMWORKS SKG" text is already in place when the clouds pans away, then the camera zooms away from the logo, segueing into the opening scene. This was the last animated film by DreamWorks to use the regular DreamWorks logo.

The Cat in the Hat (2003):

  • The logo is animated in the same style as the book. Also, the fishing boy is seen wearing the same hat as the title character. On international prints and TV broadcasts of the film (such as on BBC One), this is shown before the Universal Pictures logo. This was designed by Imaginary Forces.

  • Exactly the same as the Gladiator variant, but the logo begins where the company name is revealed from a cloud transition. The Reliance and EA logos are also in sepia. The text and bits of the background look slightly different in the 3D version of the film.
