Background

Dualstar Interactive was the video game division of Dualstar Entertainment and was one of eight subsidiaries that Dualstar operated. It was launched in 1999 through a partnership with Acclaim Entertainment.[1] In 2004, Dualstar Interactive filed a lawsuit against Acclaim,[2] which went bankrupt. Acclaim's bankruptcy, and subsequent closure and liquidation, effectively ended Dualstar Interactive.
