Background

Duo Bao is a Chinese bootleg DVD company.

Logo (2010’s)

Visuals: Over a white background with a light blue moving curvy line, there is the logo (a blue lowercase D with hollow squares representing a filmstrip and six hollow circles, five big and one small, representing a film reel. There is also another one next to it but colored red and flipped, representing a B) in a kaleidoscope effect spinning around before stopping and then zooms in as two red chinese characters and “Duo Bao” in a cursive font fades in under it. Then a lens flare then appears and shining brightly before it fades out.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: An African drum theme at the begging with cartoony boing noises, which then turns into a happy trumpet fanfare. The music abruptly cuts off at the end.

Availability: Appears on several bootleg DVDs, mostly of children's cartoons like Thomas & Friends and Bob the Builder.
