Background

Dutch FilmWorks is a Dutch film distribution company founded in 1998.

1st Logo (1999-2005)

Logo: The logo at first is encased in pitch black; a shade of red is seen passing vertically over the letters DFW in a shadow like manner. As this happens, the words DUTCH FILMWORKS appear from the sides as afterimages before clashing together. After a few seconds of hesitation, the background opens up with an iris-like transition to reveal once again the letters DFW thus showcasing said entire logo in its own form.

Technique: Simple computer effects.

Music/Sounds: A synthetic dance-like tune, followed by a few occasional whooshes, an impact sound, and an echoey baritone voice saying "Dutch Filmworks".
