Background

EA*Kids was a label used by Electronic Arts to publish entertainment games. The brand started in 1993 to publish a handful of games, like Eagle Eye Mysteries. The only console game produced under the label was the Sega Genesis game Sesame Street Counting Cafe. The label would eventually became Creative Wonders in 1995 after ABC bought a share in the company.

Logo: On a black background, three multicolored faces of a child's face, in different forms, are drawn in. The text "EA*Kids" in a childish font appears, followed by the text "A DIVISION OF ELECTRONIC ARTS" appears below the logo.

Variant: A still version exists.

Technique: 2D sprite animation.

Music/Sounds: A synth rock theme, with drawing sounds and various kids saying "EA Kids!" over the jingle.

Availability: Can be seen on many DOS games from the period, like Eagle Eye Mysteries, Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book, Scooter's Magic Castle and a handful of Sesame Street games. It was also seen on the Sega Genesis game of Sesame Street Counting Cafe.
