Background

eGG Network (formerly known as Every Good Game) was a Malaysian pay television channel exclusive to the Astro satellite provider. It was launched on June 7, 2016, as a joint venture of Rocketfuel Entertainment Sdn Bhd. The channel focused on esports and broadcast worldwide electronic gaming tournaments live.

On January 23, 2023, the channel ceased transmission, with some of its esports content moving to Astro Arena and Astro Arena 2.

ID (June 7, 2016-January 23, 2023)

Visuals: The screen zooms in close to an egg against a yellow background. The top half of the egg cracks, before cracking more and vibrating until the shell breaks apart to reveal an egg-shaped object. The object peaks around at the screen as it's revealed to have eyes shaped like irregular five-sided polygons and a mouth. It then bounces and spins to face the screen as it smiles, resembling a lowercase "e". It then looks around again before facing the screen again. It then looks around yet again, this time retaining its smile

Variant: For live programmes, when the anthropomorphic egg-shaped creature bounces, text reading "LIVE" in a 3D font pops out from the bottom of the creature, before the letter lands on the text.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A retro-style electronic pop tune, accompanied by cracking sounds when the egg cracks and 8-bit noises when the egg-shaped creature moves.
