NFL Presentation

Sunday Night Football era

(1998-2003)


Logo: The ESPN logo at the time ("ESPN" in its familiar font, but on an oval with a red line on the top-left of it) forms, then it zooms back to reveal the now previous NFL logo floating around in space.

Technique: The ESPN logo forming.

Music/Sounds: The NFL's old fanfare. Since 2003, the now-current NFL fanfare is used.

Availability: Should still be intact when ESPN Classic airs an NFL presentation from the late '90s and early 2000s.


Monday Night Football era

1st Logo (2006-2019)

2nd Logo (September 9, 2019- )


Logo: In a dark gray background, we see dark gray liquid chrome form the NFL 100 logo. Finally the camera backs away as it fully forms and colorizes to red, white and blue. It cuts to the famous Hank Williams "Are you ready for some football" intro.

Technique: The liquid chrome forming the NFL 100 logo and the logo changing color.

Music/Sounds: The 2019-present NFL fanfare.

Availability: It is the current logo so it is seen before and after MNF games on ESPN.
