Background

EUE/Screen Gems Studios is a film and television studio complex. In 1996, EUE/Screen Gems made an acquisition by taking over Carolco Pictures' film and production studios in Wilmington, North Carolina. This transaction occurred subsequent to Carolco's declaration of Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization. Subsequently, the premises underwent a transformation and emerged as the new headquarters of EUE/Screen Gems Studios. As with EUE/Screen Gems, EUE/Screen Gems Studios today has no relations with Sony Pictures Entertainment, but still retains the Screen Gems logo.

Visuals: On a red background, there is the 1965 Screen Gems "S" logo in bright red. "SCREEN" and "GEMS" in black slide in from the left and right sides of the screen respectively and converge underneath the "S". "EUE" and "STUDIOS" in gray then slide in from the right and left sides of the screen respectively, as "EUE" positions itself to the left of "SCREEN" and "STUDIOS" positions itself to the right of "GEMS". Together, the words make "EUE SCREEN GEMS STUDIOS".
