1st (possibly) Logo (1989-1994?)

Logo: On a black/blue gradient background, the letters of "EVS", with the S having a streaked white shadow next to it, slide in from the right one-by-one. Then the words of "ENTERTAINMENT", in a computerized serif font, fly in from the sides continuously.

Variant: There is a plain black background variant.

FX/SFX: 8-bit computer animation.

Music/Sounds: A synth-brass fanfare leading into a dramatic crescendo.

Availability: Rare.

2nd Logo (1990-199?)

Logo: TBA

FX/SFX: TBA

Music/Sounds: The music from the Virgin Video logo from 1986.

Availability: Rare.

3rd Logo (1991)

Logo: A gray background with imposed copies of the EVS Entertainment logo in white flips into view. The red parts of the EVS wordmark slide in from the right, with shadows coming from the vertical sides. "ENTERTAINMENT" with a white border then types in below. Green Thai text then appears above / below the logo.

FX/SFX: 8-bit computer animation.

Music/Sounds: A brass fanfare.

Availability: Very rare. Used solely in conjunction with the Eagle Group logo.

Legacy: Both this and the Eagle Group logo follow a similar animation concept.

4th Logo (1994-1997)

Logo: Over a superimposed video of a cloudy blue sky, the letters of "EVS" flip from the right, top and bottom coordinately, and a yellow "shining" effect occurs once when placed. "ENTERTAINMENT" then spins in from below (thru a 3D illusion). An iris effect occurs which forms white borders around the logo complete with the streak.

FX/SFX: Still primitive 2D effects, although neater-looking than the previous logos.

Music/Sounds: Same as the first logo.

Availability: Rare. Might appear on both VHS and (later) VCD releases.

5th Logo (1997-2000)

Logo: Over a picture of a sunset with the shadow of a tree near the left, a set of 8 yellow stars, grouped together in a circle, is shown spinning. The letters of the EVS logo, along with the yellow "ENTERTAINMENT" text below, then zoom out in the front while spinning into view. The stars keep on spinning once the logo settles.

FX/SFX: Simple 3D CG effects.

Music/Sounds: Same as the first logo.

Availability: Rare. Might appear on both VHS and VCD releases.

6th Logo (1997-????)

Nicknames: "EVS Globe"

Logo: TBA

FX/SFX: Primitive CGI.

Music/Sounds: The music from the Sony Music Entertainment logo

Availability: Very rare.

7th Logo (2000)

Nicknames: "EVS Globe II", "The 20th Century + Universal Combination"

Logo: TBA

FX/SFX: Primitive CGI.

Music/Sounds: John Williams' recording of the 20th Century Fox fanfare (albeit different than the usual Star Wars fanfares) with the drumroll cut.

Availability: Very rare, since it was (allegedly) used for a brief period.

Legacy: It's the 3rd EVS Entertainment logo to feature stolen musical properties from a bigger company.

8th Logo (2000-2002)

Logo: TBA

FX/SFX: The low-budget 3D effects.

Music/Sounds: TBA

Availability: Scarce.

9th Logo (2000-2002)

Logo: TBA

FX/SFX: TBA

Music/Sounds: TBA

Availability: Rare.

10th Logo (2002)

Logo: TBA

FX/SFX: TBA

Music/Sounds: Fiery and explosive effects.

Availability: Very rare.

11th Logo (2002-2004)

Logo: TBA

Variant: Later releases have a reworked version of the logo.

FX/SFX: TBA

Music/Sounds: TBA

Availability: Rare.

Legacy: The "ENTERTAINMENT" text in the 1st version of the logo doesn't look clearly distinguishable, although this issue was fixed in the later variant.

12th Logo (2003)

Logo: TBA

FX/SFX: TBA

Music/Sounds: Computerized metallic sounds, segued by the 1990s SMV Enterprises jingle.

Availability: Very rare, perhaps since it was briefly used.

Legacy: It's the 4th EVS logo to feature stolen musical content.

13th Logo (2004-2018)

Logo: TBA

FX/SFX: TBA

Music/Sounds: TBA

Availability: Uncommon, since most recent EVS releases have this logo (also facilitated by its lengthy lifespan).
