Ecosse Films is a film and television company based in London founded by Douglas Rae.
1st Logo (24 October 1997-16 May 2001)
Visuals: For the most part, it's an in-credit notice consisting of two flags connected together resembling the Scottish and French flags respectively. Underneath, there's "An ECOSSE FILMS".
Variant: On The Ambassador, the logo is inside a white box.
Technique: A still, computerized graphic.
Audio: The ending theme of the show.
Availability: Only seen on a few shows from this period such as An Unsuitable Job for a Woman and The Ambassador.
2nd Logo (27 February 2000-)
Visuals: On a black background, there are three blurry shapes: one in blue and the others in red. Underneath it reads "E C O S S EF I L M S". The shapes themselves are seen to deblur and fade into a blue square with a thick "X" covering most of it and a long, red trapezoid tilted 90 degrees counterclockwise.
Variants:
- An in-credit variant exists. This was mainly used at the end of TV shows.
- Sometimes, this logo also shares the screen with other logos.
- A still version exists as well.
- On A Royal Night Out, the logo is squished.
- On The Trial of Christine Keeler, the logo is inside a white box.
