Background
Edko Video Ltd. was a home entertainment company from Hong Kong.
1st Logo (Late 1980s)
Visuals: On a blue gradient background, there is a stylized EV with a chrome texture and "Animation" in a red, cursive font sliding into the center of the screen, with "Animation" overlapping "EV". To the bottom right of the logo, text fades in and reads:安樂影殿有跟公司
Technique: Computer animation.
Audio: An odd dreamy synth ditty that starts off with what sounds like a tune on cowbells and angklung sounds that changes pitch after one set.
Availability: Spotted on a Cantonese-dubbed print of The Tale of Watt Poe.
2nd Logo (2000's-)
Visuals: Same as the 2nd Edko Films logo, but the text reads "EDKO VIDEO" instead of "EDKO FILMS".
Technique: Computer animation.
Audio: None.
Availability: Appears on Edko Video releases of titles like Curse of the Golden Flower and Tuk kae phii.
