Background

Ellman Film Enterprises is a distribution company.

1st Logo (1972-1974)


Logo: On a cloudy background, we see a stylized E letter with a filmstrip. Below it is the company name.

Technique: The clouds moving.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Ultra rare.


2nd Logo (1974-1980s?)


Logo: On a mountain landscape with stars, we see a MGM-like ribbon circle reading "ELLMAN FILM ENTERPRISES" with a man wearing glasses. He roars in the circle two times, then he smiles. A hand carrying a torch, a monument with two searchlights, a radio tower in a globe, and a ring surround the circle.

Technique: Live action for the man.

Music/Sounds: Only the sound of a lion roaring.

Availability: Rare. Seen on various movies at the time.
