Background
Endemol Shine Group is a joint venture between 21st Century Fox and Apollo Global to combine together their studios, Shine Group and Endemol, respectively. The merger was announced on May 15, 2014 and completed in December 2014. With the purchase of 21st Century Fox's assets by the Walt Disney Company, Endemol Shine became co-owned by Disney. The venture was later acquired by Banijay Group in July 2020, with the international unit being folded into the company to create a more expanded Banijay Rights. Despite the original venture no longer existing, many of the former divisions still retain the Endemol Shine name.
1st Logo (2014-2016)
Logo: On a gradient gray background, parts of the words "ENDEMOL" and "SHINE", stacked on top of each other, appear by flipping. "GROUP (or STUDIOS)", in brighter shade of gray, flips below. The text is stacked like this:
ENDEMOL
SHINE
GROUP
Variants:
- There is a variant for each country as per the last logo (i.e. "ENDEMOL SHINE AUSTRALIA" for Australia, "ENDEMOL SHINE NORTH AMERICA" for North America, "ENDEMOL SHINE TURKEY" for Turkey, etc.)
- A still version exists.
- In Turkey, "TURKEY" replaces "NORTH AMERICA". Also, the logo is brighter.
FX/SFX: The flipping.
Music/Sounds: Short wind and xylophone tune. On Big Brother, the CBS generic theme plays over.
Availability: No longer current. The NA version is seen on the fourth season of MasterChef Junior, replacing the Shine America logo. The regular version appears on newest episodes of MasterChef around the globe, replacing both the Shine Group or Shine International logos. The North America logo reappeared on the nineteenth season of Big Brother on CBS, as well as the first few episodes of Celebrity Big Brother.
Editor's Note: None.
2nd Logo (2016-2021)
Logo: We see close-ups of words drawing themselves in and turning grey, we then cut to a shot of the final logo, the words "EndemolShine Group" in a font similar to the old Endemol Logo. The text is stacked like this:
EndemolShine Group
Variants:
- There is a variant for each country as per the last logo (i.e. "EndemolShine Australia" for Australia, "EndemolShine NorthAmerica" for North America, etc.)
- A long version exists.
- There is a version where the text simply slides in. A longer variant of this exists as well, where the text slowly zooms in after its animation completes.
- On the 2017 revival of Fear Factor, the text "EndemolShine NorthAmerica" are all in one line and appear in-credit at the bottom-left of the final scene.
- On MasterChef Australia, starting with the eighth season, the copyright stamp appears below "EndemolShine Australia".
FX/SFX: Just the words drawing in and turning solid. Good CGI.
Music/Sounds: A majestic fanfare (long variant of the normal logo), the sounder from the Shine Australia logo (normal logo), or a mechanical-sounding electronic tune (sliding variant).
Availability: Current. Seen on former Shine and Endemol Productions such as The Voice, MasterChef and Gogglebox, as well as The Masked Singer Season 1. It began to appear on later episodes of Celebrity Big Brother as well and the twentieth season of the regular summer edition. This didn't appear on the eighteenth and nineteenth seasons of Big Brother.
Editor's Note: This is a clean logo, but it's boring compared to the previous one.
3rd Logo (2021-)
TBA.
