Background

Endgame Entertainment is a Los-Angeles based production company founded in 2002 by James D. Stern.

1st Logo (April 15, 2005-October 11, 2008)

Visuals: In isometric projection, a door opens on a black background and light emits out of it. A man with a hat walks out of the door, makes five steps and stands still, putting his arms into a body sides. The place where he stands transforms into a square plate, then an outline writes a chessboard (which looks similar to the Purina pet food company logo) and other plates cover it as a dark blue spotlight appears in the center of the background. The word "ENDGAME" slides by an outline from the back and stops in the front. The whole picture pans from right isometric view to left. The man gets outlined by a white border.

Variants:

  • TV shows with this logo use a still version of this logo with a gray background.
  • A still version of this logo also exists.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: The sound of a door opening accompanied by a jazzy tune. Otherwise, the opening/closing theme of the movie or TV show.

Availability: The animated version is found on The Year of the Yao, the American trailer for the South Korean film Wonderful Days (which was distributed as Sky Blue), The Alibi and Stay Alive. The still version can be found on Bigfoot Presents: Meteor and the Mighty Monster Trucks.

2nd Logo (March 2, 2007-)

Visuals: Some flashes appear and blink, brightening the screen. After the light goes off, a man's legs walk by the road with mountains in the background. The screen pans to reveal a man walking. The picture is put into a rectangular frame where the image of the walking man becomes still. Under the frame, the word "ENDGAMƎ" appears, in a big font with the last "E" large and reversed. Under it is the word "ENTERTAINMENT" in a much smaller font. The man's shadow in the picture resembles a chess piece, specifically the king.

Variant: A closing version, showing the print logo with "ENTERTAINMENT" being larger, exists.

Technique: Stylized computer animation. Designed by Tesia Alexandra Jurkiewicz and animated by Gerald Mark Soto and Chris Lohouse at Bigstar.

Audio: 5 descending chimes, short orchestral notes, and light footstep sounds.

Availability: The logo first appeared on Solstice (2007). It can be found on new movies they produce.
