Logo (December 17, 1984-1986)


Visuals: Over a black background, we see a golden stylized, connected "EP", then a blue light streak flies from top-right, and itEntertainment Partners flashes. The blue light streak flies from bottom-left and sweeps out the text "ENTERTAINMENT PARTNERS", in gold, fading in beside the "P".

Technique: Backlit cel animation.

Audio: Often seen silent. However, there was a variant with a futuristic-sounding fanfare, which also contained phaser-like noises.

Availability: It was seen on the 20th Century Fox DVD release of A Christmas Carol with George C. Scott and the old CBS/Fox VHS of The Last Days of Patton, also starring Scott.
