Epiblas Production

Background

Epiblas Production (or Epiblas Producción), is a production company specialized in music videos, TV series and culture-related videos based in Equatorial Guinea and founded by Epifanio Blas. The company's videos are available on its YouTube channel.

1st Logo(2011-2014)

Nicknames: "EpiBlender", "EpiBLAHs", "African Universal", "The Amateur Logo"

Logo: On a space background, a Universal-like shaped globe with "EPIBLAS" in front of it, both spinning. All of a sudden, the logo goes into center, and "PRODUCTION" appears without a clue, and spinning too.

FX/SFX: It's all CGI...

Variants: There would be different types of text.

Music/Sounds: A one-note tune accompanied by choppy whooshes.

Availability: Check the opening and closing of Djibloho, the video Recuerdos de Annobón por Barril Bestue and the spot for TV series Zulumenchi,among other videos released from 2011 to 2014.

2nd Logo (2012-)

Logo: We see footage of a whale diving head-first (though only its tail is seen) into an ocean. Three seconds in, the white text "EpiBlas Produccion" zooms in and seven seconds in the text turns into a black-and-white color. The text then fades out slightly before the footage does.

FX/SFX: The whale (live-action), the fading, the text....

Music/Sounds: A soothing orchestral tune.
