Background

Epiblas Production (or Epiblas Producción), is a production company specialized in music videos, TV series and culture-related videos based in Equatorial Guinea and founded by Epifanio Blas. The company's videos are available on its YouTube channel.

1st Logo (2011-2014)

Nicknames: "EpiBlender", "EpiBLAHs", "African Universal", "The Amateur Logo"

Logo: On a space background, a political globe quickly spins with the angled gray text "EPIBLAS" in front of said globe. All of a sudden, the globe and text tilts, and the gray text "PRODUCTION" slides in. After it does, the text "EPIBLAS" spins very fast, and then appears in a yellow outlined font, where's the globe is still spinning.

Variant: A variant would have "PRODUCTION" in a different font.

Technique: Early CGI for the time.

Music/Sounds: A one-note tune accompanied by choppy whooshes.

Availability: Check the opening and closing of Djibloho ,Recuerdos de Annobón por Barril Bestue and the TV series Zulumenchi, among other videos released from 2011-2014.

Legacy: This is deemed as ugly and laughable to those who watched it, and it marks a resemblance to Universal Pictures.

2nd Logo (2012-)

Logo: We see footage of a whale diving head-first (though only its tail is seen) into an ocean. Three seconds in, the white text

zooms in. Seven seconds in, the text turns into a black-and-white color. Then text then fades out slightly before the footage does.

Technique: Live Action.

Music/Sounds: A soothing orchestral tune.

Availability: Seen on a majority of the movies from the company at the time, including De Chapas De Zinc Por Nguema Obiang.
