Background
Eurocom was a Polish home video/TV distributor and a dubbing studio. It was founded in 1989 and closed in 2021.
1st Logo (1989-1992)
Visuals: On a starfield is many stars with a motion blur, then a circle appears, rotating with a multi-colored motion blur. There is the golden word "EUROCOM" in a bold and italic Times New Roman font zooming out. As the word places itself in the center, the circle disappears.
Variant: Some releases have the logo going fast-forward, then various shows distributed by the company (Babar, Heathcliff, Inspector Gadget, etc.), are shown, and the words "EUROCOM" and "PRZEDSTAWIA" (meaning "presents" in Polish) appear on a firework background. The words zoom in away, then there is a shooting star through the window and cut to a black screen.
Technique: Cel animation.
Audio: Wind sounds at the beginning, then a mysterious ascending synth plays.
Availability: It would be seen on Polish VHS prints of StarCom. Unknown for the other variants.
2nd Logo (1992-1997)
Visuals: On a black background, a really dark planet with a blue atmosphere is shown in the center. The planet slowly splits open and reveals a red light emitting inside of it with a rotating jagged dot pattern in gold. After a few seconds, the planet zooms away and the jagged pattern reveals to be 13 golden stars in a circular format. The company's name in the same format as the previous logo flies into the center letter-by-letter as the ring rotates until it faces the audience. Once the ring and text become still, the background crossfades to dark blue.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: Some dreamy ambiance which slowly transitions to a majestic synth fanfare.
Availability: Spotted on a Polish video print of Keys.
