Background
FDG Entertainment GmbH & Co.KG is an German video game company founded in September 2009. The company is mostly known from Red Ball, Banana Kong, Beyond Ynth and Cover Orange franchises.
(February 4, 2010-)
Visuals: On a white background, we see a weird blue shape with circled cones. Next to it are 2 triangles (their are also blue with circled cones). From the weird shape, 9 blue squares are emerging. Next to the logo is "FDG" in a big, gray font. "ENTERTAINMENT" is below.
Variants:
- On Blosics FREE, it shares the screen with the Igrek Productions logo.
- On Cover Orange, the logo is printed on the barrel on the main screen.
- On Red Ball 4, the background is the same as the game's menu, but it's toomed. The logo is smaller and it's all white.
- There is also a variant on which gray and blue paint stacks come and form the logo. When it's finished, it segues into the Game Atelier logo.
- On Beyond Ynth and Beyond Ynth Xmas Edition, the logo is supported on the down rug of the screen along with the "Krabl.com" URL and Now How It Looks logo on a black background. A walking Kribl (the main character of the game) appears inside a little hole on a paper background under it and the text LOADING appears. After a while, the hole gets bigger and the whole background gets covered by the paper, segueing into the main menu.
- There is an animated variant. The symbol is formed from blue elements and the name appears. While the symbol forms, a sun shines from the top-right of the screen.
- On Across Age TVCM style trailer, the logo fades into the CXC Create logo.
- On a Blosics FREE trailer, the ball from the game crashes into the logo, launching a lot of squares and segueing to the trailer.
Technique: None. For the animated, Kribl and painted variants, 2D animation.
Audio: None.
Audio Variants:
- For the animated variant, we hear a long smooth tone ending with 3 cymbal like notes.
- The trailer for Blosics FREE has the opening theme of the trailer.
Availability:
- Seen on some games produced by this company.
- The animated variant appears on trailers for the company games. It also appeared on FDG Entertainment - Car Toons.
- Strangely, it does not appear on Cover Orange Journey despite the company producing it.
