Background
Family Entertainment Network (alternatively known as simply Family Entertainment) was a multimedia company formed in 1988 as a sister label to the Living Scriptures firm, catering to a wider Christian base. In 1993, it was consolidated alongside Living History Entertainment, Rich Animation Studios, and Cassette Duplicators into an umbrella company, Nest Family Entertainment, and the name was retired a year later.
Logo (1988-1994)
Visuals: On a black background, an abstract rendition of the words "Family" in yellow, green and blue and "ENTERTAINMENT" fade in with "presents" underneath. After a few seconds, the logo fades out.
Technique: None.
Audio: The opening theme of the feature that follows the logo.
Availability: Can be seen on the original tapes of Animated Stories from the New Testament and Animated Stories from the Bible (up to Elisha). Later releases and DVD prints have this plastered with the Nest logo, although digital prints have this logo intact with the exception of The King is Born, which still uses the Nest logo.
