Background

Fearnet is an American horror channel that opened from 2006 to 2014 located in New York.

Logo: We see a filmstrip begin with a lightbulb flashing, then it transitions into a foggy background of a black guy and a black hand, but there’s a hook about to kill, and then it transitions into a montage of blood splatters. When finished, the filmstrips turned into a logo with a blood-splattered background and a letter R with blood in it. Technique: Live-action.

Music/Sounds: A filmstrip whoosh, a camera making a dramatic riff, two screams, a man groaning, and a gun shooting once are heard.

Availability: Extinct on TV.

Legacy: The darkness and tone of the ident, as well as the blood will definitely get to some.
