Background

Feng Huang (Phoenix) Motion Picture Co. is one of the predecessors to the current Sil-Metropole Organisation.

1st Logo (1950's)

Note: This video contains most of the logos used by the company. The 1st one appears at 1:17. The 2nd one around 1:23. The 3rd one around 1:55.

Visuals: On an Asian texture background, there is the name, with a major part of it being placed in style of an arc.

Technique: A painting filmed by a camera.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on Feng Huang's earliest movies.

2nd Logo (1960s?)

Note: The variant with the 2nd fanfare is seen in this video around 5:54. The variant with the first fanfare can be seen here.

Visuals: On a black/red gradient, there are two Fenghuangs (Chinese mythological Phoenixes also known as Ho-o in Japan which are the Female counterparts of the Dragon ) from both sides of the screen. In between them there's the company name, with "凤凰" at the top and bigger than the other letters, and the other text seen below it.

Technique: A painting filmed by a camera.

Audio:

  • A triumphant fanfare, which calms down the look of the logo.
  • On a few occassions, it used a creepy fanfare that is heard on another logo.

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]

3rd Logo (1960's-1970's)

Visuals: On a blue/pink background, there are two Fenghuangs on the top corners of the screen. There is the company name between them, even bigger in size than before.

Technique: None. [possible misuse]

Audio: The triumphant fanfare from the previous logo.

Availability: Seen on Feng Huang's last movies.
