Until now it is never known whether or not it was used as a print logo, on-screen, or even as a corporate logo, what is known is that it appeared in a BTS report for The Evil Dead on a syndicate TV news show called "PM Magazine", this report was created when the film itself was still having a distributor in the USA, until 1983 when it was distributed in the American (and some other non-European countries like Mexico) theaters by New Line Cinema.
