Background
This is the production company of Peter Berg. It is named after Truck 44, an abandoned project that was to be written and directed by Berg.
1st Logo (October 3, 2006-2013)
Visuals: On a black background is a rectangle with a white square in it. In the black part is the word "FILM" in white and in the square is the number "44" in black.
Technique: A still digital graphic.
Audio: Football players grunting.
Availability: Seen on Friday Night Lights and the short lived U.S. adaptation of Prime Suspect. Also seen on the failed pilot of Bloodline.
2nd Logo (June 26, 2009-)
Visuals: On a dark background, two blue number "4"s fade in and come together. "FILM" fades in next to "44",
Variants:
- On The Leftovers, the logo is still and has more grayish look.
- On Virtuality and Dare Me, the logo is still on a white background. On the former, it is below the BermanBraun logo.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: The opening/closing theme of the film/show.
Availability: The animated version appeared on Battleship and Lone Survivor. The still version was seen on the HBO television series The Leftovers.
