1st Logo (1989-1999)

Logo: On a starry sky background, we see a light blue valley with mountains (looking like the Arctic). Thick, foggy bluish clouds move overhead. Panning into outer space, the words "First Run Video" swipe from left respectively, all in capital letters so that it looks like this:

FIRST
RUN
VIDEO

Finally, four thin reddish-orange lines swipe in from the right, underlining all the words, and it fades out to black.

FX/SFX: The camera panning into outer space, the red lines appearing from the right.

Music/Sounds: A dramatic synthesized keyboard fanfare. One long note is held out while the camera pans through the valley, and then a reverse cymbal is heard right before the camera pans up. As the words swipe in, we hear a fast 12-note theme with the last note held out.

Availability: Rare. Can be seen on some 1997-1999 tapes of the Canadian children's show The Big Comfy Couch.
