Background

First Video Entertainment was an Argentine adult home entertainment company.

Logo (Late 1980s-Early 1990s)

Visuals: On a black background, the separated word "ENTERTAINMENT" zooms from the left, and stands below in the middle. Then, the separated word "VIDEO" abruptly appears above in the right portion. Behind it, there is the word "FIRST" separated by vertical segmented cuts, with the "I" in the shape of a building similar to the Empire State building. It is shown from the right, sliding down to the lower-left corner, then rapidly appears from the left, sliding into place. Later on, the background turns navy, and the two aforementioned words fade out, then it later goes in contrary. Shortly after, it fades out, and then abruptly reappears, differently arranged. Later on, "FIRST" wipes away by black fog, most notably by a video feedback effect. This later applied to the aforementioned words, then it finally fades out. The sequence then fades to a navy background with "FIRST". The text "PRESENTA" slides in.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: "War" by Vince DiCola.
