Background

Flicks Films was a British animation studio owned by Terry Ward and Trevor Bond. Founded in 1973 as "Mr. Films", the studio was best known for the original Mr. Men and Little Miss TV series. Flicks Films shut down in 2007.

1st Logo (January 9, 1998-January 5, 2000)

Logo: On a black background and inside a white box, we see a baby sleeping in his bed with a pacifier in his mouth. The text "aflicksfilm" with "flicks", being larger and in a Broadway font, is seen below the box.

Variant: On episode 1 of Timbuctoo, the logo is animated, showing the baby sucking his pacifier.

Technique: Traditional animation.

Music/Sounds: An 8-note music box tune.

Music/Sounds Variant: On episode 1 of Timbuctoo, the music box tune is extended to 16 notes and is accompanied by the sounds of a pacifier being sucked.

Availability: Seen on the first series of Timbuctoo.
