Background

Floyd County Productions is an American animation studio located in Atlanta, Georgia. It is best known for producing two animated TV series Archer and My Little Pony Equestria Girls for FX, in addition to providing animation for various live-action shows.

The company was founded in 2009 by Adam Reed and Matt Thompson after they closed 70/30 Productions following the cancellation of the company's shows. It has since grew from a small eight-person studio into a competitive animation house.

Logo: We see a woman sitting at a booth inside a diner with a somewhat ditzy expression. On the left of her in white script are the words "floyd county".

Variants:

  • On the first two episodes of Archer and the pilot episode of My Little Pony Equestria Girls, an alternate version featuring a photograph of a small town with sheets hanging nearby was used.
  • Starting in 2021, the text "PRODUCTIONS" was added below the name.
  • On America: The Motion Picture, the woman wears a hat.

Availability: Seen on Archer, My Little Pony Equestria Girls, Unsupervised, Chozen and Hit-Monkey. It is also seen on America: The Motion Picture.
