1st Logo (March 2009-August 30, 2015)
Nicknames: "Shattering Glass", "Classic Microphone", "Church Boy!"
Logo: On a dark gray background with spotlights on top, a 50s style microphone comes from the top and swings towards the screen, going through it and breaking glass. As shards of glass fall, the words "FO YO SOUL ENTERTAINMENT" appears.
FX/SFX: The microphone swinging, the glass shattering.
Music/Sounds: At the beginning, a boy imitates a beatbox, then when the microphone hits the screen, the sound of shattering glass is heard, then the boy says "Church boy!" (from Kirk Franklin song "Jesus!") as it echoes.
Availability: It's currently seen on Sunday Best on BET and reruns occasionally seen on BET Her.
