⚫ | |text=So a few years ago back on the old site, someone said they saw the old TriStar logo on a French VHS of ''Hamlet'' with Mel Gibson. While I'm not ruling out the fact that TriStar released it in some countries since it was partly financed by Carolco, and they had the rights in a number of foreign territories, I don't think they released it in France. I saw the French poster and it said that the film was distributed there by AFMD. If anyone can claim that the TriStar logo ''did'' appear on that VHS, I am willing to include that info on the TriStar page. |

While I'm not ruling out the fact that TriStar released it in some countries since it was partly financed by Carolco, and they had the rights in a number of foreign territories, I don't think they released it in France. I saw the French poster and it said that the film was distributed there by AFMD.
