Another possibility is that it was in the Yahoo Groups threads, which are mostly long gone at this point.

With the new rule that appeared today, there's one capture that has been bugging my mind for a long time (and is still on this wiki). It's the capture of the 3rd Universal logo (the checkered Saturn Globe), which has been on the wiki since forever. It has unknown origins and looks like a newspaper clipping rather than an onscreen logo. We have a history of old CLG captures being exposed as fake/mockups (TAT, KingWorld, blurry P-Head), so is it possible that this 3rd Universal logo could be a fraud too? I brought up this issue on the Universal page's talk page and no one has responded, so thought I'd bring it up here.

From what I know, that logo apparently appeared in TCM's Sunday Mornings.

As for the photo, this can probably be theorized by looking at old Wikifoundry revisions to see when exactly it was added to the wiki. That way we could also figure out how old the capture is and possibly if the logo is real or not based on further evidence (threads, etc.)

Another possibility is that it was in the Yahoo Groups threads, which are mostly long gone at this point.
