It has come to my attention that there is currently no solid criteria for what warrants the use of the NSFW template in articles. I know that it usually covers pornographic and content considered to be racist (e.g. Minstrel Entertainments), but there is no solid guideline. In addition, I am considering redesigning the banner, because it appears that the Parental Advisory label is US- and UK-centric. I am also considering a less dramatic design, based on the guidance banner what I saw on a BBC News video about sexist language (source: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-42665082). |
