EDIT: Oh, and why should serif text not fine? I think its OK enough to be given an exception to the no custom fonts.

After internal discussion with staff, we've decided to disallow colored text in descriptions, which also includes text visualizations. Doing this does not benefit the text at all, and especially not the reader, because it only sacrifices readability for the sake of unnecessary flair. I hope you all understand.

This was probably the most nonsensical new rule I've ever seen on this wiki, I literally can't take this seriously

We're only in the process of removing the colored text to describe the color of certain elements (i.e. on a green background). For the styled text visualizations and gradients, we are planning on a proper replacement which will not interfere with the description and can be hidden depending on the reader's preference.

I'd be the one to be blamed for this. I'd been making it more focused on replicating the images as close as possible in leiu of readability. I'll start removing them as well. EDIT: Oh, and why should serif text not fine? I think its OK enough to be given an exception to the no custom fonts.
