For that matter, I'd probably get rid of the top header too since the title kinda makes it redundant. |

You make a good point. A more comprehensive list and better navigation around the wiki. |

Looks like it's a technical issue on the extension's end. At least one other wiki reports the same thing. I've raised the issue on their github project. |

So with the 1.36 update infoboxes are working again and I've started adding them again. While re-adding the infobox to [[Paramount Pictures]] I toyed with the idea of removing the "Background" heading so that the background information serves as a Wikipedia-style lead paragraph. Here's what that looks like on the Paramount page. |

I just discovered this. It doesn't really fit well with the CLG Wiki logo descriptions. Sorry, but I'm shooting this one down |

There's a tendency on our larger pages for the Background section to become a wall of text, for example Viacom_(pre-2006). I think we could supplement these sections with an infobox to provide readers with the key facts at a glance. Below is a screenshot of how this would look on the aforementioned page. I've used PortableInfobox as it suits the look of the wiki more than the Wikipedia equivalent and template construction is simpler The template is at Template:Infobox company. At the moment it's got the essentials, but of course more parameters could be added as needed. What do you think? |

I think this'd make pages a lot easier to digest, I'm for it. I feel though that instead of listing subsidiaries, It'd just be easier to name the current parent company and link to its category page (like for this example, ViacomCBS/CBS) |
