Congrats on getting the star If you want to document a logo from India or Nepal but the logo contains a Hindu god/goddess you don't recognize, you've come to the right place... at least I hope because I'm only giving a general idea. Shiva (God of Destruction) Usually has a snake around him. May also do the tandava. Vishnu (God of Preservation) Has four arms. Ganesha (God of New Beginnings, Wisdom and Luck) Has the head of an elephant. Hanuman (God of Wisdom, Strength, Courage, Devotion and Self-Discipline) Has a monkey face, representing his origin as a Vanar. Brahma (God of Creation) Commonly depicted as our faces and four arms and also has a beard but may still contain one head. Krishna (God of Protection, Compassion, Tenderness and Love) Plays the bansuri (Indian flute). Lakshmi (Goddess of Prosperity, Fortune, Wealth, Power, Love, Abundance and Beauty) Holds one or two lotuses in her hands and stands/sits on a lotus. May also have two elephants below her, behind her, or on the sides of her. Durga (Goddess of Strength and Protection) Usually depicted riding on a tiger. Holds multiple weapons in her hands (including a Chakra and a Trishul). Saraswati (Goddess of Knowledge, Music, Art and Speech) Plays the sitar. Surya (God of the Sun) Rides on a chariot, typically with Aruna, the the charioteer of Surya. Rama (The Ideal Man) Depicted wielding the Sharanga (bow). Narasimha (God of Protection, Destruction, Yoga, and Kala) Part man, part lion. Also has four hands since he is an avatar of Vishnu. Dattatreya Three-headed god surrounded by animals.
