Dante/Charlie had already gotten themselves into trouble MANY times before, so they were already on very thin ice to begin with - we never forgot the numerous incidents they did with the logo incident, their attitudes towards users like Shadowninja, and padding out their edit count to try to get a shot at an admin role by repeatedly and constantly participating in user report conversations to try to boost their numbers past the 1000 edit mark. We knew exactly what they were doing, and I bet Dante/Charlie knew that we knew too - it takes much more than just edit count alone to become an admin of this wiki. And let's not forget the various other attitude problems they had with other members that were minor by comparison.

As for why we blocked them until they were 18 - we wanted to give them the opportunity to think about and reflect on what had transpired with them, and give them ample amounts of time to think - considering they are still very young, all things considered. Lots can change in those nearly five years, from psychology to attitude towards others; among many other factors of a person. When their block time is finished and if they come back in November 2027 with a fresh mindset and a happy-go-lucky attitude, we'd gladly welcome them back with open arms!

So after seeing what happened I'm permanently leaving this wiki. There are some more reasonsː

1. The Wrong use of The RFCs

2. "Block him until he's 18" Yeah HibiscusCrown20 How do you think that's a big help?

3. Blocking someone Because their first name is similar to a sockpuppets.

I really miss when this was clg wiki But Blocking someone Until they're 18? The Fact that they did that isn't Fair at all Because apparently No one knows what freedom of speech is. Good bye forever.

OOC how are RFCs being misused? And Dante wasn't blocked for having a sockpuppet-esque name.

It's still unnecessary to ban him till 18. As I said, I think 5 months is enough.

Two users decided to make a joke RFC in which AVID is renamed to the Muppet Wiki, based on a joke Logohub told on the Discord server.
