@Logohub: Seems to work alright now. The only issue I can see is that it's somehow creating a big gap between the header and the posts. I've just fixed it manually here and on a couple of other threads.

@Hb1290: I figured what is causing the gap. I've noticed it only happens on old threads (prior to the form's creation). What caused the gap is that in old threads the text parameter came last, while in the form it came first, so the form tried to "fix" every post in the page, thus accidentally creating a gap.

I've also noticed it doesn't work correctly with galleries that have captions. I noticed it erased half of VPJHuk's gallery from 28 December, but not the other galleries there, apparently because one of the captures has a caption.

@Logohub: So effectively we need to find a way of making it so the form only allows one post at a time to be edited, not all of them

@Logohub: I have a solution to our issue with the older threads. We can archive existing posts on the longer continuous threads , meaning they can then use the new system without the formatting problems. I've done the Surprise discoveries thread already using URL workarounds to get into the source, but we might need to reverse your CSS changes temporarily so we can get this done. We should then see if we can find a way to get the edit source button to appearfor admins only so we can still archive threads even once the forms are fully implemented

I didn't do anything. I guess the weird gap thing only happens on a few threads, not every pre-form thread.

I managed to get this work by editing the usergroup css pages so it's only visible to sysops (admins) and bureaucrats

It works again. I also just added wikieditor functionality to the form (which I already did for the post creation form) so formatting should be easier now.

EDIT: form previews doesn't seem to be working, but that shouldn't affect post creation.
