As the title says, this thread is for talking about unidentified music featured in logos (and also attempting to track the songs down, most likely through the community song identification website WatZatSong).

There are quite a few examples that I know of, but if anyone else knows about any other logos with an unidentified song, then I can put it in the list below mine.

Logos other people suggested:

Malibu Video (Israel) is also worth mentioning, but the song used there has already been identified

Also, what's your favorite unidentified logo song?

Couldn't you use Shazam to find out the song in the logo?

Shazam is hit and miss when identifying obscure songs in logos. I have previously done this with the V.I.A. Tapes Holland, Home Video Center, and Gourmet Video Collection logos to no avail. I always thought the soundtrack in these logos were pre-composed music from a music library or performed by a musician, similar to Hellas Kosmos Video. Perhaps they too can be added to the list.

I also found this video of various test cards from Algeria. One of the test cards (at 2:27) has an unknown song and someone in the comments said it was "Mohamed Lamine - Hadrat Ennas". About this claim, I couldn't find the song the user was talking about but I was able to find the artist's page on Discogs.

To me, the Honey Home Video logo's music sounds like it would be made on an Amiga computer

Someone with a Reddit account should ask about these on R/Lostwave. Especially the VIS Video logo, that's the one I want to hear the full, clear version of the most.

I found the romantic Toppic music, it's "I Love You, Joe Walker" by Angelina Monti from the Komissar X film series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOrM7HRxWRo And I will clarify I did not find it randomly, I got the info from a comment on the Toppic logo with that song.

Still no lead on the screaming disco music.

I hear that many people believe that the song played on the Super Productions Vidéo logo was not a song composed just for the logo, but rather a song that exists but the name and artist of the song was not discovered. It really sounds like the song played really was a song that was stolen.

Update about the Algerian testcard post I wrote earlier on this forum thread; I'm very happy to announce that "Mohamed Lamine - Hadrat Enass" has been uploaded online!

The 1980s Video Wasco logo uses a song that I dont think is original. I mainly think that because their next logo uses music that is not original

Shazam was somehow able to catch the 3 seconds of the soundtrack being played in the Kareem Video Productions logo (because I played it in loop), and I can confirm that the song is "Holler" by John Davis and the Monster Orchestra. Yes, the page already has been edited.

We've got another one from a German adult video company, Dr. Perverso (vaguely NSFW, there appears to be a pair of badly-drawn phalluses on the Dr's coat that I didn't notice at first, so it's up to you to look or not): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMcDbZ9oZTE It is clearly a German song, and Shazam turned up nothing. Same with the VIS/Teens Video logo song.

What is it with German pr0n companies and obscure music?

I wonder if the music used in Feugo Film Production's first logo isn't a song they made just for the logo, because it sounds TOO good for it to be made exclusively for a logo.

I also found this thread on the Lost Media Wiki that talks about this same subject. In fact, I was completely unaware of that thread before I made mine here! XD

I've been sitting on this one for a while because I've been distracted, but Poxx has two unknown songs, and they left the singing in the first one. Shazam was no help and neither was Googling the lyrics.

could easily say that Country Video, Brooklyn Home Video and Bison Video also use a piece of unidentified songs

why does lostwave music slap so hard?

There's a wonderful stock-sounding soundtrack that appears in both the:

Joy Sales Films and Video Distributors logo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8YQKBPqR1ok

And the Cinehollywood logo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S8F4W4p7zVs

I still don't know where it's from, does anyone know?
