Background
Fotodisk Video was a video sublabel of the British record company Fotodisk, in which distributed live performances of rock bands.
Logo (June 11, 1990-1991)
Visuals: On a black background, a flying image with a blue trail accompanying it slides down from the top, zooms in and slides through the left whilst it bends, turning itself into normal, and zooms over, engulfing the screen. The image consists of a space background with three planets from the top-right and bottom-left. In the middle is the company's logo, arranged like this:
Fotodisk.
----------VIDEO
The texts are shown in a shiny chrome color, with "Fotodisk" in a quite futuristic, sharp typeface with the upward part of the "F" deattached, and the right lower part of the "k" extended. Two sparkles are seen in the "F" and the 2nd "o". Shortly after, it flies out, sliding, zooming out and back two times before finally zooming out.
Technique: Scanimation.
Audio: An electric guitar tune.
Availability: Seen on all releases of rock live performances, mostly VHS and rarely Laserdiscs released in Japan by Metal Mania Vision and Teichiku VIdeo. One example is Running Wild - Death or Glory Tour.
