Background
Foundation Imaging was a CGI visual effects studio, a computer animation studio, and a post-production editing facility. They did work on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (series five finale, seasons six thru seven), Star Trek: Voyager (seasons three thru seven), Star Trek: Enterprise (season one), and the DVD director's edition of Star Trek: The Motion Picture. The company was dissolved in 2002.
Logo (September 12, 1998-December 28, 2002)
Visuals: On a letterboxed space background with the earth above at the top and the top of the moon below; we see a triangle-shaped white symbol with three outlined dots and the text "Foundation Imaging" below the logo and above the moon. The symbol rotates and the logo slowly zooms in.
Variant: A longer version exists on Young Hercules and the animated adaptation of Dan Dare: Pilot of the Future. On the former title, the logo cuts to the Renaissance Pictures logo.
Technique: Digital effects.
Audio: A dramatic space-themed entry accompanied by the sound of heartbeat for the longer version.
Availability: Seen on Young Hercules, Roughnecks: Starship Troopers Chronicles, Max Steel (2000 TV Series) and the animated adaptation of Dan Dare: Pilot of the Future.
