Background

In 1992, Murakami-Wolf-Swenson became Fred Wolf Films following the departures of Jimmy Murakami and Charles Swenson several years prior. The Dublin unit, Murakami-Wolf Dublin, was also renamed to Fred Wolf Films Dublin.

Logo (September 12, 1992-December 12, 1998)

Visuals: On a dark brown/black background, a metallic light gray rectangular panel flies in from the top-left corner to cover up the background, while a stylized red "FW" flies from behind and places itself at the near-top. The words "FRED WOLF FILMS" dissolve in below the "FW" and a red line wipes in below the name from right to left, while the background shines a little.

Variants:

  • Shows produced at Fred Wolf's Irish studio in Dublin featured an added word which is "DUBLIN" below the line.
  • On The New Adventures of Zorro, the logo is thinner and still.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A 6-note triumphant MIDI-like high brass/cymbal score, produced using the E-mu Proteus 2 Orchestral synthesizer.
