Background
Fresh TV is a Canadian production company based in Toronto, Ontario founded in 2002 by Jennifer Pertsch and Tom McGillis. It didn't use an on-screen logo until 2007. The studio is known for the Total Drama franchise, as well as other shows including 6teen and Stoked.
1st Logo (July 8, 2007-January 26, 2013)
Visuals: On a black background, there is an orange lime on the right of the screen that looks stylized. The word "fresh" in lime green appears next to the lime in a chic-font. A second later, the lime drips to reveal "tv", also in orange.
Variants:
- On first season of Stoked, the logo takes place on a water background. "fresh" and the lime appear via a ripple effect, and when the lime drips, it splashes, revealing "tv". It appeared on the majority of the first season starting with "Board and Confused".
- For German prints of the show, it's still and it is in-credit along Teletoon Original Production and Cake logos.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: The ending theme of the show.
Availability:
- Can be seen on Total Drama Island (original), Total Drama Action, Total Drama World Tour, the last two seasons of 6teen, and on Stoked.
- This is currently plasteared by the 3rd logo in Netflix prints of Total Drama Island.
2nd Logo (October 1, 2009-December 9, 2016)
Visuals: On a white gradient backdrop is lime green bubbles fly across the screen, forming the word "fresh" (in the same font as the previous logo) and the lime (now in lime green). The lime turns around to face the camera and, like in the previous logo, drips, revealing "tv" (also now in lime green).
Variants:
- Sometimes, the logo is placed on a black background, a la the 1st logo.
- There is also a shorter version on what the logo starts from moment, when the lime turns around. It appeared on some Backstage episodes.
Technique: 2D computer animation.
Audio: Same as the previous logo. On Grojband and the trailer for Total Drama World Tour, a soda can opening is heard along with a water droplet sound.
Availability:
- Seen on the trailer for Total Drama World Tour.
- Was also seen on Total Drama All-Stars, Total Drama: Pahkitew Island, Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race, Grojband, Bunks and the first season of Backstage.
- The version with the black background can be seen on My Babysitter's a Vampire, Really Me, and Total Drama: Revenge of the Island.
3rd Logo (July 28, 2017-)
Visuals: On a grey background, there is a cyan play button with the word "Fresh" on it, when the play button is pressed, "TV" fades in and the camera moves to the center of the logo.
Variants:
- On the 2nd season of Backstage, the logo is tinted red and the background is white.
- On some Total DramaRama episodes on Cartoon Network, the logo is in left down rouge during the ending scene of the show.
Technique: CGI.
Audio: Same as the previous logos.
Availability:
- Seen on Total DramaRama, the 2nd season of Backstage, Dark Haven High, and the 2023 revival of Total Drama Island.
- It also appeared on Netflix print of original Total Drama Island (plastering the 1st logo).
