Background
Frostbite is a game engine developed by EA studio DICE and released in June 2008. It was originally employed in the Battlefield series, but would later be expanded to other first-person shooter video games and a variety of other genres. To date, Frostbite has been exclusive to video games published by Electronic Arts.
Logo (March 2, 2010)
Visuals: After the game's EA DICE variant, the logo dissolves in a wind-like effect to reveal a handprint with a hole through out. "FROSTBITE: A Dice Technology" is below. This logo dissolves out the same way.
Technique: The dissolves.
Audio: An electronic buzz for the dissolves, and an electronic gleaming sound when the logo is revealed.
Availability: Seen on Battlefield II: Bad Company 2.
