Background

Futurikon is a French independent company founded in 1996 by Phillippe Delarue. The company is known for The Ugly Duckling and Me, Dragon Hunters, and Minuscule: The Private Life of Insects.

Logo: Up against a white background, a black dot fall into the floor. Then it draws a yellow swirl. After that, the dot bounces forming the the text "FUTUR" in white in a black box and the text "IKON" in black in a white box with black outline. The dot then lands in the letter "I" when the logo finishes.

Variants:

  • There is a short version where it starts when the dot bounces.
  • There is also a still version on a black background that appears on U.S. airings of Minuscule: The Private Life of Insects on Disney Channel.
  • On Willa's Wild Life, the logo is still.

FX/SFX: The dot and the logo forming.

Music/Sounds: A 12-note piano tune.

Availability: Common. Can be seen at the end of Fly Tales, Monster Energy, Kaput & Zosky, Willa's Wild Life, Minuscule: The Private Life of Insects, among others.
