Background

Fuzhou Waixing Computer Science & Technology Co. Ltd. (Chinese: 福州外星电脑科技有限公司) currently known as Waixing Education Technology and sometimes Waixing Technology (外星科技) is a Chinese company known for making unlicensed Famicom games and other electronics. The company was founded on November 18, 1993. As well as originally developed games, they also released Chinese translations of Japanese games under their own name, including Fire Emblem.

1st Logo (1996-1997)

Visuals: Over a black background a blue creature is shown walking in from the right, a sparkle is also shown next to its shoes. Below is the Chinese and English names of the company and the copyright in the same languages.

Technique: 2D pixel animation.

Audio: Walking sounds, then blinking sounds, then a 8-note fanfare.

Availability: Seen on Di Dao Zhan.

2nd Logo (1997-2000s)

Visuals: On a black background is a red "C" style circle with the rounded letters "ES" in it, and a blue ring is shown surrounding it. Below is the Chinese name, the English name, and the copyright info.

Variants:

The Chinese text doesn't appear in some games.
The logo is shown on a starfield with part of the Earth below in Chu Han Zheng Ba.

Technique: A still, sprite-based graphic.

Audio: An 8-bit fanfare, the opening theme of the game, or none.

Availability: Notably seen on the NES bootlegs of Bio Hazard (Resident Evil), Happy Biqi III: World Fighter (Earthworm Jim) and most other Famicom games by the company.
