GKIDS
Background
GKIDS, LLC (an abbreviation of Guerrilla Kids International Distribution Syndicate) is a New York-based independent film and television distributor founded in 2008 by Erick Beckman that focuses on "sophisticated, indie" animated movies as well as television series. In 2011, GKIDS took over the North American theatrical distribution rights to the Studio Ghibli library from the Walt Disney Studios, followed by video rights in 2015, taking over from Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. On October 15, 2024, Toho announced that it would buy the distributor and become a subsidiary of Toho International.

- Appears on North American prints of all movies distributed by the company, including international animated films such as Song of the Sea and Boy and the World, French movies like April and the Extraordinary World and My Life as a Zucchini, and several anime movies, including all of the Studio Ghibli catalog.
- It also appears on the North American Blu-Ray boxsets of the anime series Future Boy Conan, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water.
