Background

GRIN, based in Stockholm, was founded in 1997 by brothers Bo and Ulf Anderson. Following the success of their first titles Ballistics and Bandits: Phoenix Rising, along with their PC versions of the two Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter titles, the company started to expand, opening up studios in Gothenburg and Barcelona, Spain. But following poor sales of their Bionic Commando reboot and the game adaptation of Terminator Salvation, the company declared bankruptcy and closed all studios in August 2009 following Square Enix's withdrawal of payments over the former's planned spinoff of Final Fantasy spin-off, Fortress. The Andersson brothers would later form Overkill Software, also based in Stockholm, who would gain recognition for their Payday titles.

2nd Logo (October 4, 2002)

The logo jitters like an old movie, and does the same jittering thing at the end.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: Same as the first logo.
