Background

Gamecock was an extravagant company created by the founders of the original Gathering of Developers, to repeat its success with independent developers and quality games with original concepts. Unfortunately, the games weren't that good as expected, and in October 2008, the company ended the same way as GoD - it was bought out by SouthPeak, the office was closed, sold, and the brand was dissolved. Several upcoming games were published by the parent company.

(2007-2008)

Logo: On a black background, the rooster head is seen. A stylized G letter is inside the head and below it, the name reads GAMECOCK / MEDIA GROUP.

Variants:

  • The colors were reversed on Mushroom Men for DS.
  • Insecticide for DS had "presents" below.
  • Legendary had the apocalyptic background and dark metal logo.
  • On Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars (for Wii) the living mushroom fired green amoebas on the background, the logo was entirely green and the name placed above in retro font.

Technique: None.

Music/Sounds: None except for the variants.

Availability: Appeared on Mushroom Men, Insecticide, Dementium: The Ward and probably on Hail to the Chimp.
