Background
This was the production company of Scott Garen and Joie Albrecht.
1st Logo (November 26, 1983-1989)
Visuals: On a dark blue-blue gradient background, there is "Garen•Albrecht" in a stylized bronze script font. The bottoms of the "G" and "t" are connected to each other, creating an underline, underneath which is "PRODUCTIONS" in Avant Garde font. "in association with" (also in Avant Garde) is seen below the screen. A sheet of sparkles wipes from the left to the right of the script, brightening it.
Variants:
- In later years, the background is black.
- A still variant exists where the logo is lighter in color. Plus, "in association with" is absent.
Technique: 2D scanimation animation.
Audio: A 6-note French horn theme with a synth background and twinkles, with a synth organ note combined with the last note.
Availability: Appeared on Television's Greatest Commercials 5, Down and Out with Donald Duck and Totally Minnie. May have also appeared on other productions.
2nd Logo (November 13, 1988)
Visuals: On a sparkling starry night sky, there is the same logo from before, only now it's in a shiny cyan-blue double gradient. There is a sparkle on top of the "G" and another one on the bottom of the "t". "in association with" is seen below again, followed by the 4th Walt Disney Television logo.
Technique: 2D scanimation animation.
Audio: The closing theme of the special.
Availability: Seen only on Mickey's 60th Birthday.
