Background

This was the production company of Scott Garen and Joie Albrecht.

1st Logo (November 26, 1983-1989)

Visuals: On a dark blue-blue gradient background is "Garen•Albrecht" in a stylized bronze script font. The "G" and "t" are connected to each other from their bottoms, creating an underline. Below the line is "PRODUCTIONS" in Avant Garde font. The logo then shines from left to right with a sheet of sparkles, brightening it. "in association with" (sharing the font with "PRODUCTIONS") is seen underneath.

Variants:

  • In later years, the background is black.
  • A still variant exists where the logo is lighter in color. Plus, "in association with" is absent.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A 6-note French horn theme with a synth background and twinkles, ending with a synth organ note.

Availability: Appeared on Television's Greatest Commercials 5, Down and Out with Donald Duck and Totally Minnie. May have also appeared on other productions.
